We have an exciting opportunity for St Luke’s volunteers to attend the Sheffield United game against Aston Villa on Saturday 21 September for a bucket collection as part of our St Luke's takeover day.

We’re excited to invite you to join us for the annual Sheffield 10K event! On Sunday 29 September 2024, we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us in marshalling the event and cheering on our amazing runners. (16+)

St Luke's flagship event, the Festival of Light, is just around the corner, and we have some exciting volunteer opportunities available for this year’s event on Sunday 1 December. We're on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to help create a special evening for all our guests.

We have a brand new St Luke's shop coming soon to Kilner Way Retail Park and we have lots of exciting volunteer opportunities! Within the general Retail Volunteer role you can choose to specialise in the areas of your interest. We have developed several 'sub-roles' to help suit your different personalities and skills.

We are looking for enthusiastic and confident volunteers on Tuesday afternoon to help supervise our hugely popular Gupshup club activities which run on a 6 weekly basis throughout the year. Gupshup has been designed specifically to introduce Sheffield’s South Asian community to the facilities and services available at St Luke’s.

We are a community organisation which means that everything we do is focused on helping people in their own communities as well as at our Little Common Lane site and our adjoining site on Ecclesall Road South. We are looking for volunteers to help us to support our patients with a variety of roles, to ensure that our patients on the In-Patient Centre have companionship, emotional support and to offer a listening-ear, as well as to support us with translation.

Could you spare a morning or two each month to help St Luke’s raise over £500 in the community? As a Collection Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our hospice by raising essential funds, ensuring a stable income, and boosting St Luke’s profile throughout Sheffield.

Our retail volunteers assist the Shop Manager in all aspects of running our shops; including preparing our donations for the shop floor, keeping our stock room clean and organised, serving customers and visual merchandising. Volunteers can choose to specialise in any tasks or areas of the shop that they particularly enjoy. (Age 14+)
