Government funding via the NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group covers a declining proportion of the income we need – currently just 30%.
In fact, of the £10 million it takes to deliver our services this year, we need to raise £7 million of that from donations.
There’s no charge for any of our services to patients.
Because of our high profile in Sheffield and in the local media, some people assume that we’re a rich charity. We aren’t. If all our income were to cease, we could only keep going for about six months.
