Charity of the Year

Choosing St Luke’s as your Charity of the Year will help towards raising the £6.1 million needed each year for St Luke’s to continue providing specialist palliative free of charge to the Sheffield community. We’ll give you full support and commitment throughout the partnership, and can help promote brand awareness, generate positive local PR opportunities through our press contacts and enhance your image in Sheffield. We work with companies of all sizes and industries, so whatever your social responsibility aims - we’d love to be involved!

We have a wide range of well-attended events throughout the year that include great sponsorship opportunities, offering you multiple commercial advantages. Our events can provide a great place for you to advertise and show your support for St Luke’s at the same time.

Office Fundraising

Fundraising at work is a great way to build staff morale and get employees working together across the company. We can tailor make a calendar of ideas to fit around your needs and aspirations such as improving team work, staff skills or increasing motivation. These ideas can be as simple as a dress down day, or your employees could take part in one of our events which we would help you to promote.

Payroll Giving and matched funding

Payroll giving is easy, effective and tax efficient for your employees. It’s very beneficial to St Luke’s because it means regular, predictable income for us. How about encouraging employees to donate their last hour's pay to St Luke’s each month, or even donating the pennies from your payroll?Matched funding is when you agree to match any money that your employees raise. Your staff will be motivated by your support and display of corporate social responsibility.

Donate products and services

Any assets or services that you supply to St Luke’s can be a tax efficient way of supporting us. Companies can claim tax relief for donations to UK charities as a charge against income in their corporation tax. Your gifts could be used as raffle and auction prizes for our events to help us raise funds.

Employee volunteering days

Volunteering days allow your employees to use their skills and gain new experiences outside the usual workplace. St Luke’s depends on the help of our volunteers, and we’re always on the lookout for more. We’d really appreciate your support in areas such as administration, organising events and collections.
