Information for schools

Fantastic opportunities to fulfil curriculum objectives and support our care.

Join BizKids - our pioneering scheme that joins together local schools and businesses to raise money for St Luke's.

We love to hear from primary and secondary schools and colleges who want to learn more about St Luke’s and support our work through fundraising and volunteering. We work with teachers and support staff to fulfil curriculum objectives and raise awareness of hospice care and charity work. Get in touch to talk about your school or college supporting families across Sheffield affected by terminal illness.

The schools are teamed up with businesses which loan £100 as a seed fund and also provide mentoring and expertise as the young Dragon’s Den stars of the next generation set about making that money grow – with the proceeds going to Sheffield’s only hospice!

This is a fantastic opportunity for schools to fulfil curriculum objectives whilst supporting families across Sheffield affected by terminal illness.

Help raise awareness

We can provide speakers for whole school assemblies, or to come in to individual year or form groups to talk about our work and how your students, teachers and your wider community can get involved.
