Each year we face the challenge of finding the money to cover our running costs. That’s why the work done by our highly motivated team of more than 760 volunteers is so vital to us. It means that we can spend the maximum amount of money directly on caring for our patients.
We appreciate all of our volunteers' hard work and do everything we can to make volunteering worthwhile for you - offering a wide variety of roles for all interests, as well as development and training opportunities.
St Luke's Volunteering Info Session
On Wednesday 29 September 2021, our Volunteer Team is hosting an online event to tell you all about the exciting volunteer opportunities available with our Retail Team and at our Donation Centre and how volunteering with us could benefit you. Come along and meet our friendly team.
Welcoming back our retail volunteers
We’re so happy to be able to invite retail volunteers back into our shops. With the most recent developments and of course the vaccine, we feel that now is the right time to safely welcome you all back.
Whether you're a new or returning volunteer, to help you visualise what to expect in our shops and show you the measures that have been put in place to keep our volunteers safe, we have created this walk-through video at our Crystal Peaks shop.
If you have any questions after watching the video or to find out how you can apply to volunteer with us, please call 0114 235 7548 or email [email protected]
. Thank you and see you soon!
