Shop or donate pre-loved items to fund local hospice care

With less than a quarter of our costs covered by NHS funding, St Luke’s depends on the kindness and generosity of our local community to help us raise the £11m of the £15m needed each year to continue providing our services.

That’s where our retail chain makes such a difference. Every item donated and every purchase made in charity shops generates around £4m each year, helping us keep hospice care and support free for patients and families across Sheffield.

Shop with St Luke’s

Visit one of St Luke’s Sheffield charity shops in person or browse our online stores. You’ll find high-quality pre-loved clothing, furniture, homeware, books, media and more – all while supporting local hospice care.

Gift Aid your donations and make them go further

When you choose to add Gift Aid to your donated items, St Luke’s can claim an extra 25% from HMRC once those items are sold – at no extra cost to you!

Opt in when you donate

If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can choose Gift Aid when you drop off items at any St Luke’s charity shop. It only takes a moment, and you only need to sign up once.

We’ll keep you informed

When your donated items sell, we’ll let you know how much they’ve raised. You can choose to keep the proceeds or donate them to help fund St Luke’s Hospice care.

It all adds up to more care

Gift Aid adds an extra 25p for every £1 made on the sale of your donated items. Last year, more than 90,000 supporters helped raise over £235,000 extra through Gift Aid.
