NATIONAL car retailer and hire specialist Arnold Clark have made a £500 donation to our patient services.
Arnold Clark launched their first ever Community Fund in March 2020, specifically to provide financial help to community groups and charities that had been significantly affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
So far the Fund has received more than 20,000 applications from organisations from a wide range of backgrounds.
“We are so pleased that the work of St Luke’s has been recognised by Arnold Clark,” said our Community Fundraiser Elllie Matthews, who received a £500 cheque from Amber White, the manager of Arnold Clark’s Sheffield hire drive branch in Burngreave Road.
“As we emerge from the pandemic, we are depending as much as ever on the generosity of the business community and the public to help raise the £7 million needed annually to keep our services going.
“The Arnold Clark team can be assured that every penny of their donation will have a positive impact on the lives of all our patients and their families.”
