A DAY of sporting action on the greens at Abbeydale Sports Club saw 39 teams taking part in the 25th annual St Luke’s Golf Day.
The popular sporting challenge was organised in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Sheffield.
Headline sponsor was Bruce & Butler and Halfway House sponsor was Pacy & Wheatley.
The day was open to teams of four players – from scratch to 24 handicap golfers –and included dinner and prizes.
“We were delighted that so many teams wanted to join us and celebrate both the 25th anniversary of our Golf Day and the 50th anniversary of St Luke’s itself,” said our Fundraising Account Manager Matt Sheridan.
“Our special thanks to Bruce & Butler for once again being our headline sponsor - their director, Matt Bruce, is a long term St Luke’s supporter and also a keen Golf Day participant so this was a perfect event for them to support.
“And it was great to welcome Pacy & Wheatley as our Halfway House for the first time too.”
