Wednesday fan Neil aims to score with new photo offer

LIFELONG Sheffield Wednesday fan and professional photographer Neil Kitson is aiming to boost his fundraising for St Luke’s.

Having already raised more than £10,000 for St Luke’s, Neil has now donated a further ten limited edition signed pictures of Wednesday defender Sam Hutchinson, with the aim of raising even more money for our patient services.

Neil, who is originally from the Hyde Park area of Sheffield, has taken pictures for the club on match days over the last five seasons.

His limited-edition book, The Ultimate Season Ticket – a photographic journey of the fan experience at Sheffield Wednesday – sold out in a week raising over £6,000 for St Luke’s.

His 10 new limited edition 10” x 8” signed prints feature  Sam with the city’s skyline in the background.

The pictures are available to buy at £20 each plus P&P each, via the St Luke’s eBay page at eBay

St Luke’s is close to Neil’s heart after his mum, Pauline, was cared for by the hospice in the final months of her life.

“I know how challenging it’s been for charities to fundraise through the pandemic and I just wanted to find a way to help,” he explained.

“St Luke’s is such an important place and means so much to so many families across Sheffield.

“Sam has been really supportive and it would be amazing to raise over £10k to help this amazing charity.

Our Senior Fundraising Manager Clare Collingworth commented: “We are delighted that Neil is continuing to support St Luke’s in this way.

“Proceeds from his book and memorabilia auction have already raised so much towards our patient care and we hope these pictures will add to that total, meaning we can continue  to support more families across Sheffield.”
