FRIENDS of St Luke’s patient Linda Earnshaw have raised more than £3,500 for our services.
Linda is currently being cared for by our Community Nursing Team and it is in recognition of that care that friends at Dronfield’s Victoria pub have raised an outstanding £3,534.45.
As well as a football match between the Victoria and Baslow FC, their fundraising day included a barbecue, cake stall, raffle, auction and live music.
“This was a perfect example of how fundraising can be fun for everybody,” said ouir Community Fundraising Assistant Zoe Manders.
“Their final total really will make an enormous difference to the lives of people like their friend Linda, who depend on the support of St Luke’s.”
