LEADING South Yorkshire road surface specialists SteelPhalt raised £500 for St Luke’s as they took to the greens for their annual charity golf day.
Eight teams of four competed in the sporting challenge which was held at Rotherham Golf Club in Thrybergh.
And all money raised during the day is going direct to our patient care.
“We like to support a different charity at every golf day and, knowing how much St Luke’s depends on public support, we decided that the hospice would make the prefect choice for our 2017 event,” said SteelPhalt Business Development Manager Lee Birkbeck.

The SteelPhalt plant in Sheffield Road, Rotherham, converts steel slag into a surface course for road making.
It achieves high skid resistance - enhancing road safety for both drivers and pedestrians - and maintains it throughout the whole life of the road, also avoiding the use of quarried materials and the landfill of residual slag product.
The exceptional strength and durability of steel slag extends the life of the road and lengthens road maintenance intervals for resurfacing.
