Say it with flowers at Celebration of Life

It's the summer daisy chain made up of memories… with every petal celebrating the life of a St Luke’s patient.

The Celebration of Life returns to our gardens in Little Common Lane on Sunday 30 July, a chance to celebrate life and share the memory of loved ones. And one of the highlights of the afternoon will be the giant daisy chain, with every flower commemorating the life of one of our patients.

“This summer we are asking our supporters and friends to celebrate precious moments with family and friends by sharing their own special memories on a St Luke’s Daisy,” said St Luke’s Fundraising Campaigns Co-ordinator Roisin McAteer.

“Every flower we receive will then be displayed in a daisy chain of hundreds of other stories from our community at our Celebration of Life Garden Party.”

The party begins in the St Luke’s gardens at 2pm on Sunday 30 July and will include everything from live music to face painting, craft activities as well as cream teas and refreshments.

Visitors will also be able to add the names of their loved ones to the St Luke’s Book of Celebration, printed on special seeded paper that will later be planted in the hospice gardens to create a special wildflower area.
