Time is running out to place bids on a rare piece of Blades history currently for sale on the St Luke’s eBay site.
The Sheffield United vintage Hobott 82-83 home shirt (#8), signed by Keith Edwards, was generously donated and discovered in a bag at our Donation Centre.
The memorabilia shirt is now live for bidding, ending this Sunday 15 March, with bids already reaching over £500.
“One of our Donation Centre team pulled the shirt out of a bag of donations and we quickly realised it was a rare, vintage shirt perfect for any collector of lifelong fan,” said Sarah Grindrod, St Luke’s E-commerce Team Lead.
“We also have a few more SUFC memorabilia items and signed merch currently listed or coming up soon – so any keen fans should keep a close eye on our eBay store!”
“Donations like this are so exciting, and every penny raised through our retail chain helps us continue caring for local people and families across Sheffield.”
The auction is open until 7pm on Sunday and many more bids are expected to come in before then.
