Totley Pharmacy is continuing its support for St Luke’s for a second year!

The Totley Pharmacy team sees itself very much at the heart of Sheffield’s community, just like St Luke’s, a charity that is dedicated to the wellbeing of terminally ill people across Sheffield and their loved ones.

Totley Pharmacy have been actively working on bringing the name of St Luke’s to the widest possible audience – football fans may have noticed that the Bramall Lane dugouts have been used over the past season to promote the St Luke’s brand alongside Totley Pharmacy.

St Luke’s serves the Sheffield people who need it most – all those affected by terminal illnesses regardless of age, cultural background, postcode or religion. The charity supports not only people with cancer but all other types of terminal illnesses. All this support to patients is absolutely free of charge, with St Luke’s also offering support to patients’ families, carers and loved ones too, through some of the most challenging times of their lives.

St Luke’s has to raise more than £6.4 million annually with help from supporters like Totley Pharmacy, who have been helping in many different ways, including Sheffield United match day collections, auction prize donations and trust gifts, as well as match day hospitality opportunities for St Luke’s supporters.

To continue supporting St Luke’s, Totley Pharmacy, are due to launch their very own donation station, giving St Luke’s even greater access to the community in Totley and Dore.

Tajinder Singh of Totley Pharmacy said “We are very proud to support St Luke’s, one of Sheffield’s best loved charities, and now look forward to a further 12 months of support and fundraising for a great cause”.

To celebrate the continuing partnership Totley Pharmacy will donate two Director’s Box seats for Sheffield United’s opening game at Bramall Lane against Swansea City on Saturday 4 August 2018. To enter, please visit Totley Pharmacy’s and St Luke’s Facebook and Twitter pages, and like, share and comment on the competition post to say which part of the Steel City you’re from.

And don’t forget – if you would like to join in St Luke’s and Totely Pharmacy fundraising activities just call into your local Totley Pharmacy for a chat. They would love to hear your ideas!
