Retail Volunteering Opportunities

Our retail chain plays an important role in helping St Luke’s generate nearly a third of the funds we need to sustain our services. With 15 shops across Sheffield and our Donation Centre, our incredible team of volunteers ensures that our shops run smoothly, raising vital funds for our care. There are plenty of opportunities to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, meet new people, and make a positive impact on the Sheffield community. Whatever your interests or expertise, there’s a place for you to get involved.

Retail Volunteer

Our retail volunteers assist the Shop Manager in all aspects of running our shops; including preparing our donations for the shop floor, keeping our stock room clean and organised, serving customers and visual merchandising. Volunteers can choose to specialise in any tasks or areas of the shop that they particularly enjoy. (Age 14+)

Featured Role: Donation Door Volunteer

Could you be the newest member of our Crookes volunteer team? As a Donations Door Volunteer, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming those who come to donate items. You’ll assist with their donations, explain Gift Aid, and help with moving and lifting heavier items. It’s a busy but incredibly rewarding role, ideal for anyone who loves engaging with people.

“I love it all and every single Saturday I enjoy coming in because it’s all amazing.
