St Lukes Feedback Group

What is St Luke's Feedback Group?

We are committed to continually improving our services.

Our Feedback Group is a new open forum for hospice patients, carers, family members and friends. The purpose of the group is to give everyone a voice in how we develop our services for the future and identify areas of improvement.

Can I join the St Luke’s Feedback Group?

If you are currently using, have used or are in any way involved in our services, you are welcome to join our Feedback Group and help make a difference to other people using our services here at the hospice or out in the community.

What is involved?

The group will aim to meet three times a year either at St Luke’s or virtually. We held our first meeting in September 2022 and the next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 25 April 2024 from 1:30 - 3pm at our Ecclesall Road South site. You don't have to commit to attending multiple meetings so if you'd like to join us please contact us.

What is a virtual member?

If you are unable to commit to attending the meetings, you can opt to become a virtual member and have your say over emails. If you do not have access to emails but want to share feedback about your experience, you can write to us at St Luke's Feedback Group, St Luke’s Hospice, Little Common Lane, Sheffield, S11 9NE

We will discuss different topic such as:

  • Review of our services - is there anything that we are not doing that we could or should be doing?
  • What would you like to see more/less of and why?
  • Review of hospice information leaflets
  • Review of St Luke's website
  • Developmental ideas for our services
  • Testing menu ideas from our café
  • Q & A sessions

How you’ll make a difference?

By being part of our Feedback Group and attending our meetings or joining as a virtual member, you can have a say in how services are delivered and developed here at St Luke’s Hospice.

What will happen to your feedback?

Our team will look through and evaluate all the feedback received. A report will be given to the Executive Team and the Healthcare Governance Committee (HGC). The team will also implement and follow-up on any actions agreed upon which will be reported in the annual Quality Account.

We are very keen to expand membership of this important group so if you would like to find out more please get in touch.
