Howzat! A great cricket gift for St Luke’s

HOWZAT! Cricket lover Chris Jones has donated a very special piece of sporting memorabilia to St Luke’s.

Sheffield Vulcan Rotarian Chris Jones has presented us with a rare cricket bat signed by  the 2019 England and Australian test cricket teams.

The bat will now be going up for auction with our eBay shop, where it is expected to attracted plenty of interest from cricket lovers.

“This is the sort of unique donation that really could make a massive difference to the lives of our patients and their families,” said our Head of Fundraising Joasia Lesniak.

“Throughout a difficult year we have been constantly amazed at the many ways people have thought of to support us and this gift is one more example of the generosity of our friends.

“Groups like Sheffield Vulcan Rotarians really do make a difference that will be felt by every single one of the people we care for.”

New items like the bat are added to the St Luke’s eBay page every Thursday  - visit eBay
