High Sheriff meets staff, patients and volunteers

HIGH Sheriff of South Yorkshire John Pickering and his wife Julie were given a special insight into the work of St Luke’s when they met staff, patients and volunteers as they looked around our In Patient Centre, Active Intervention Centre and Clifford House.

“It is a great pleasure for us to continue our strong support for the excellent and important work done by St Luke’s,” said Mr Pickering.

“This is a charity that supports so many people across the whole of Sheffield and it was a privilege to be given such a fascinating insight into the daily life of the organisation.”

Our Chief Executive Peter Hartland added: “We are always delighted to welcome the High Sheriff to see the work we are doing for and with the people of Sheffield.

“The High Sheriff’s continued support is an important part of maintaining the profile of St Luke’s across the city.”
