Skydiver Alan hits the heights

ALAN Apolakiatis raised more than £700 when he hit the heights in supports of our patient services.

Alan, a director of Sheffield based recruitment agency AA Recruiting, experienced the outstanding levels of care provided by St Luke's when his grandmother was a patient of the St Luke’s Community team.

And it was in recognition of that care that he took part in a sponsored sky dive that raised a final total of £760.

Now he is extending his support even further, with plans to offer his clients the opportunity to donate to St Luke’s when he places employees with them.

“Alan has already shown great levels of support for St Luke’s with his sky dive,” said our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder.

“Offering his clients the chance to become involved in fundraising will not only make sure we continue to receive much needed financial support but will also help establish new links within Sheffield’s business community.”

Alan added: “I am so proud to be the owner of a company that can provide so much good.

“St Luke’s holds a special place in my heart and we’re delighted to support them and other charities.”
