The sweet taste of success as Maxons supports our Three Peaks challenge

SUCCESS will taste sweeter for participants in our Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge thanks to Sheffield confectioners Maxons Traditional Quality Sweets.

The company, along with the Dixon Pitchfork Charitable Trust, are supporting the challenge and providing walkers with some of their famous Yorkshire Mixture - a blend of fruit and mint flavoured boiled sweets, made to original recipes – to sustain them along the route.

The celebrated 26 mile trek takes walkers through the stunning Yorkshire scenery of the Dales National Park, starting with smallest of the peaks, Pen-y-ghent, before going on over 12 hours to tackle the peaks of Ingleborough and Whernside, climbing a final total of 1585 metres!

Our team will be taking up the challenge on Saturday June 23, with participants paying a £30 registration fee and then raising a minimum of £200 per person – all of which will go to patient care at Sheffield’s only hospice.
