IT takes plenty of kicks, flicks and toe-tapping enthusiasm to raise £1,000 for St Luke's patient care.
But members of Easy Dance, the Sheffield and Chesterfield adult jive group, proved that a light step on the dance floor can be converted into money for a great cause as they gave us a fantastic year of support.
Fundraising ideas over the past 12 months have included weekend dance events, raffles and a big charity evening, raising a final total of £1,000 which was presented to our Community Fundraising Manager Megan Senior in a special Easy Dance session at Woodseats Working Men’s Club.
“This is a fantastic effort and one that will make an enormous difference to the lives of all our patients and their families,” said Megan.
“We’d like to say a big thank you to Easy Dance charity organiser Heather Stanton and to every member of the group for their enthusiasm and support over the past year.”
