STAFF at Sheffield’s All Saints Catholic High School have raised £1,000 after striding out in support of our patient care.
But instead of simply sitting back and relaxing after their 10km trek, they’re already planning to make the walk an annual event!
The autumnal challenge took 15 members of staff from the school in Granville Road to the historic Victoria Quays and then along the Sheffield Canal Wellbeing Walk towards Tinsley Marina.
And it’s not just All Saints staff who have been raising cash for the hospice - pupils also got in on the act with a sponsored non-uniform day.
“It was especially wonderful to see donations coming in from past students and staff with their kind messages,” said All Saints Assistant Head and Director of Mission and Ethos Alistair Weir.
“We hope that this will become an annual staff event and will continue to grow.”
Our Community Fundraiser Ellie Matthew commented: “The All Saints staff and pupils have made a fantastic contribution to our fundraising with these two great events.
“We are very pleased to hear that they want to develop their support even more and we really do look forward to working with them in the future.”
