From bake sales to muddy waters with Egress fundraisers

AFTER the indulgence of the bake sale, there’s one obvious thing to do…take up the Tough Mudder challenge!

Staff at the city centre offices of email security specialists Egress have chosen to support St Luke’s with a schedule of fundraising events.

First up was a bake sale and now the team are aiming to get fit in time for a Tough Mudder event, which will see them tackling a 10 foot wall, an arctic ice pool, steep drops, tight spaces and a lot of mud.

“We are delighted that Egress have chosen to support St Luke’s and that they are already coming up with some great ways to raise money for us,” said our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder.

“The Tough Mudder is not for the faint hearted fundraiser but the team, will know that every step through icy muddy waters will make an enormous difference to the lives of St Luke’s patients and their families.”

Leah Kenyon of Egress commented: “St Luke's means so many things to many people here at Egress, and being able to support and raise funds is our way of giving back, even if that involves getting cold, wet and muddy!

“Fortunately all the other fundraising events we are planning are dry ones!”
