FAMILY and friends can look forward to a more comfortable stay at St Luke's thanks to a gift from leading Sheffield furniture retailer Ponsford.
When the Ponsford team heard that we needed a new sofa bed for our family room, they contacted manufacturers Alstons and between them they came up with the perfect piece of furniture.
Ponsford is a keen St Luke’s supporter and has held a number of fundraising events in the past, including its popular Gin and Jazz afternoons.
“Quite often we will have family and friends who need to stay at the hospice overnight with loved ones and we always want to ensure that they have as comfortable an experience as possible,” said our Director of Care and Lead for Healthcare Partnerships Jo Lenton.
“This extremely generous gift from the Ponsford and Alstons team really will make a big difference at a time when people need our support the most.”
