Hitting the heights for the 2019 Master Cutler’s Challenge

TRAINEE solicitors from Sheffield law firm Bell & Buxton encouraged colleagues to hit the heights and raise almost £1,500 for the 2019 Master Cutler’s Challenge.

The trainees hosted a range of events for the challenge – this year supporting St Luke’s and Rotherham Hospice – including a wing walk completed by colleague Bal Boughan.

And other events that brought the final total up to £1,476.80 included a staff cake sale and picking up bargains at car boot sales.

Bell & Buxton’s Hayley Cooper said: ““We feel privileged as a team to have been involved in raising as much money as possible for such a worthy cause.

“We have felt incredibly motivated throughout the Master Cutler’s Challenge to help as many families as possible and are pleased that we have been able to achieve this amount. Roll on MCC 2020!”

Bell & Buxton partner Charles Neale added: “Having participated in the Master Cutler’s Challenge in the past, we were pleased that our trainees were keen to get involved again this year.

“We have good contacts with both these charities and are keen to do our bit to support them, as the work they do across Sheffield and Rotherham is incredible.

“Over the year our trainees have done amazing things to raise funds for the Master Cutlers Challenge and we are very proud and grateful to them for all their hard work.”

Our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder said: “Some people really do go the extra mile and hit the heights for a great cause.

“The families of both Sheffield and Rotherham who are receiving hospice care really will benefit from this incredible effort.”
