FRIENDS and family of Sheffield man Chris Gregory raised more than £600 for St Luke’s when they completed a charity walk in the Peak District.
The route took in many of the places Chris himself had enjoyed as a walker and mountain biker.
Chris, who lived in Frecheville, became a St Luke’s patient as he battled against a brain tumour.
Chris's wife Mary, his mum Kath Dudson and friend Steve Murfitt presented a cheque for £607 to St Luke’s after the challenge was completed by more than 100 walkers – and more than 20 dogs!
“We are delighted that so many people wanted to take part in this very special tribute to Chris,” said our Fundraising Assistant Zoe Manders.
“The money they raised will make an enormous difference to the lives of all our patients and their families.”
