Hospice enjoys a pizza of the action with Craft and Dough

THE unique taste of a special pink pizza has helped raise more than £150 for our patient care.

Craft and Dough at Kelham Island and at The Wig and Pen on Campo Lane in Sheffield city centre – both part of the nationally acclaimed Sheffield based Milestone Group – are supporting us throughout the coming year.

And getting things off to a tasty start on National Pizza Day, the two Craft and Dough sites launched a special St Luke’s Pink Pizza, with a £1 donation from every pizza sold going direct to Sheffield’s only hospice.

The special pink pizza deal marked the start of a partnership that has also included on going donations from two other popular pizzas on the menu - the Hendersons Relish & Goat’s Cheese and Sausage & Fennel.

The sites also offered a free pizza for everyone that ran for St Luke’s in the Sheffield half marathon and are set to launch further on going pizza offers.

“We are delighted that the Milestone Group had such a good response to their St Luke’s pizza” said our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder.

“We now look forward to working with the team on many more mouth-watering ideas over the coming months.”

The Milestone Group’s Corporate Business Manager Beth Green commented: “It’s great to support such an important cause.

“We want to build relationships throughout Sheffield with the Milestone Group and we are really proud to say that we support St Luke’s at both of our Craft & Dough restaurants.

"Not only do we have an on going donation from two of our very popular artisan pizzas, but we have also created an on going partnership that will ensure we continue to support St Luke’s fundraisers and St Luke’s staff with offers and discounts across our venues.”
