We are enjoying a late Christmas gift after receiving almost £4,000 from the popular Percy Pud 10k race.
Percy Pud is the annual December sporting challenge masterminded by the Steel City Striders.
As the event celebrated its 25
th anniversary, the organisers chose St Luke's as their charity of the year.
And the 2018 race already has 15 places specifically assigned to anybody wanting to run on behalf of St Luke’s.
“We are delighted that the Percy Pud raised so much money for our patient care,” said our Fundraising Manager Megan Senior.
“Christmas may be well behind us now but this was a perfect gift and one that really will make an enormous difference to all our patients and their families.
