From top to bottom it’s a great fundraising adventure

Teams from branches of fashion chain Warehouse across the country conquered their fear of heights as they supported us by dropping from one of Britain’s most iconic structures.

Warehouse Branch Managers from Meadowhall, York, Hull, White Rose, Leamington Spa and Leeds abseiled down the side of the grade ll listed historic 120ft Larpool Viaduct in North Yorkshire in memory of colleague and St Luke’s patient Kelly Hall.

Kelly spent time throughout her illness as a patient of St Luke’s and always looked forward to her stay as she felt very supported and well looked after.

Kelly’s work colleagues took the plunge to celebrate Kelly’s life and to raise as much money as they possibly could for us to continue providing our outstanding levels of care.

“This is another great example of the many imaginative ways in which our supporters choose to raise money and make a difference to the lives of our patients and their families,” said our Corporate Fundraising Coordinator Jack Kidder.
