PAFS Outreach at Stocksbridge

 

New Wellbeing Sessions at Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre

We are delighted to announce a new series of special free wellbeing sessions at Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre, starting on Friday 31 October.

These relaxed drop-in mornings will run from 10.30am – 12 noon and are a chance to enjoy some gentle arts and crafts, share a warm drink and conversation, and find out more about the support St Luke’s can offer.

Who are the sessions for?

The sessions are aimed at anyone living with a palliative condition such as:

  • - Cancer
  • - COPD
  • - Parkinson’s Disease
  • - Dementia
  • - Motor Neurone Disease

Carers are warmly welcome too.


What to expect

As well as taking part in friendly, creative activities, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn how St Luke’s expert medical care is complemented by a wide range of other services, including:

  • - Physiotherapy and occupational therapy
  • - Wellbeing and creative therapies
  • - Social work support
  • - Chaplaincy care


When and where

  • - Launch session: Thursday 31 October, 10.30am – 12 noon
  • - Venue: Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre, Moorland Drive, Stocksbridge

Following the launch, sessions will continue monthly on:

  • - Friday 28 November 2025
  • - Friday 30 January 2026
  • - Friday 27 February 2026
  • - Friday 27 March 2026
  • - Friday 24 April 2026
