Celebration of Life
Celebrate life and share the memory of a loved one on a St Luke’s daisy.
**IMPORTANT** Unfortunately due to the bad weather we had to take the difficult decision to cancel this event on Sunday 29 July. Apologies to anyone who planned to attend.
We are making arrangements for all the St Luke's daisies to go on display and to be viewed in the near future. Further news will be available shortly.
This summer, we ask you to help us celebrate precious moments with family and friends by sharing special memories on a St Luke’s daisy. We will display them with hundreds of other stories from our community at the Celebration of Life Garden Party held in the lovely garden at St Luke's.
You are invited to St Luke's from 2pm to receive complimentary refreshments on arrival. There will be something for everyone – from face painting to craft activities to soaking up live music in our beautiful garden.
You can also take time to find your dedicated St Luke’s daisy amid hundreds of happy memories. Throughout the afternoon, our pop-up tea stall will be the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cream tea. We hope you will join us for an uplifting afternoon to remember and celebrate your loved ones.
In addition to displaying your St Luke’s daisy, the names of the people you are celebrating will be added to our Book of Celebration*. The book, made of special seeded paper, will be available to view on the day. We will then plant the Book of Celebration in our garden to grow wildflowers over the coming years.
Details of the event may be subject to change – please let us know if you are intending to attend the event so that we can keep you informed.

* Please note. Your loved ones' names will be added to our Book of Celebration to view on Sunday 29 July, provided we you have dedicated your daisy by Friday 20 July. Any names dedicated after Friday 20 July will not be entered to the Book of Celebration in time to view during the event. For names dedicated after this date, supporters can view their contributions in the book in the St Luke's Chapel during the following month.
