We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Specialist Palliative Care Occupational Therapist to join our team.
The post holder will identify and assess individual patient needs and implement appropriate Occupational Therapy interventions based on clinical experience and evidence based practice ensuring that they contribute to an efficient, effective, high quality Occupational Therapy service for adults with specialist palliative care needs.
You must have a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and have current registration with the HCPC. Experience of multi-disciplinary team working and an understanding of Palliative Care Occupational Therapy are also essential. You must have an awareness of a range of interventions within the Occupational Therapy practice and the ability to work with teams and collaborate with others. For Band E posts (comparable to AFC Band 6), you must have post qualification experience.
