St Luke’s is extremely well-supported in terms of donations from the public. These donations need to be processed and sorted into various stock lines for our shops to sell and provide income to fund our services.
This fast paced role will be located across our properties which include our Donation Centre (Fieldhouse Way S4), our shops and other donation storage locations within Sheffield. Whilst candidates could mainly be based at one location there will be extended periods when the location needs to alter and flexibility is essential.
Candidates need a good work ethic, to be physically fit and are resilient for repetitive tasks. The ability to form good relationships with colleagues and volunteers is essential.
Main Responsibilities will include;
- Processing stock donations
- Quality checking stock
- Helping to process gift aid to maximise sales
- Adherence to health and safety processes and procedures
