About our shops
Our charity shops, staffed largely by volunteers, play a very important part in raising money for St Luke’s.
A big thank you - again!
Thanks to the contributions of all our customers, donors and volunteers, last financial year our shops raised a record £1.1m.
What we sell
All our shops sell a wide range of donated secondhand goods including;
- Women's, men's and children's clothing and shoes
- Accessories including jewellery and bags
- Household goods including kitchenware and crockery sets
- Decorative items
- Books and toys
- DVDs and CDs
Most of our shops sell a range of greeting cards, and our two largest shops, Chapeltown and Crookes, also sell furniture. Please see our Donating items page for more information about how to donate goods to our shops.
We're members of the Charity Retail Association.
Volunteer
We rely on our volunteers to keep the shops running, and we're always on the lookout for new volunteers. You don't need any retail experience, just a desire to help customers and a willingness to learn. If you have the time and enthusiasm, we'd love to hear from you.
