Something Extra for St Luke's

Sheffield's latest Tesco Extra store opened on Saville Street on Monday 31 October - and its staff marked the occasion by generously donating a cheque for £1,000 to St Luke's, the charity they'd chosen themselves to receive the opening gift.

At the opening ceremony, store manager Mark Collings handed over the cheque to St Luke's corporate fundraising manager Margot Walker. Mark said, "We're pleased to be able to support a great local charity that provides an invaluable service to the residents of Sheffield."
