We're looking for new bank staff to join the team on our In-Patient Unit and Therapies and Rehabilitation Centre.
There will be an open evening at St Luke's on Tuesday 7 February to give an insight into the working life of the hospice.
Among the vacancies are posts for Bank Staff Nurses and Bank Healthcare Assistants, working when required to cover a flexible 24 hour rota.
“Working for St Luke’s offers a real opportunity to make a difference”, said HR Co-ordinator Gemma Webster.
“We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Staff Nurses and Healthcare Assistants on a bank basis to support the current nursing teams within the In-Patient Unit and Therapies and Rehabilitation Centre.
“Applicants will be flexible and adaptable to meet the hospice’s needs providing cover for holidays and absences on an as and when basis, which can sometimes be at short notice.
“They must be willing and available to complete the hospice’s full induction programme prior to commencing and must be able to attend at least two training days per year for training and update purposes.
“Successful applicants will have previous experience within a care setting and staff nurses must hold a current professional registration and have post registration experience.”
