Runners - St Luke's needs you!

Can you raise vital funds for us in the 2012 Sheffield Half Marathon?

Sheffield Half Marathon 2012

The Sheffield Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 27 May 2012, and as one of the official charities for the race, we're looking for runners to raise funds for St Luke's.

It's a truly fantastic event to be involved in - even more so in the year of the Olympics, when the nation will be gripped with sporting fever. And what better reason to take part than helping us to provide care for Sheffield people with incurable illnesses?

As well as the Half Marathon, Sheffield's Great Fun Run also takes place on the same day. This is a 3km run open to everyone, so we'd like as many entrants as possible to take part and support St Luke's in this race too.

Last year 127 individuals, companies and organisations raised funds for us - and this year we're looking to get even more.
Can you help us to achieve this?

To take part in either event and raise funds for St Luke's, you can enter online at www.sheffieldmarathon.com or download the PDF entry form. Alternatively you can call us on 0114 234 7556 and we'll pop an entry form in the post to you.

Please contact Fran Morley, Community Fundraising Manager to register your interest in running for us or for any further information on fundraising for St Luke's: e-mail: f.morley@hospicesheffield.co.uk or phone 0114 235 7556.

For more information on the race itself, please visit the official Sheffield Half Marathon website.

Thank you for your support - and good luck!
