Companion Volunteers needed
Opportunities available to help make a real difference to the quality of life for our patients and families.

St Luke's is looking to recruit volunteers to offer companionship to patients during their stay at the hospice. This is a challenging but very rewarding role, offering positive interactions with patients to enhance their wellbeing.
The role of the Companion Volunteers will include reading, playing games and accompanying patients to the hospice garden or arts and crafts area.
Volunteers need to be at least 18 years old and will carry out duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. They will also be required to have a current enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
This is a fantastic opportunity to give some time and personal skills and gain satisfaction and life experience while becoming part of the valued volunteer team at St Luke’s Hospice.
