Or how about a delightful 1930s suburban villa with two generous extensions to left and right and all the mod cons of the Art Deco age… yours for as little as £500!
Of course you might struggle to fit into your new des res, for these two highly sought-after properties are part of the selection of dolls’ houses about to go on sale at the Ecclesall Road branch of our St Luke’s charity shops chain.
The dolls’ houses, along with three meticulously crafted shops – a drapers’, a toy shop and a team room – were all given to the hospice by an anonymous donor and they are being sold to the highest bidder in time for Christmas.
“There really is an incredible attention to detail in all of them,” said area shops manager Chris Quinlan.
“All the room are beautifully decorated and furnished and they are even set up with real electric lights.
“They would make a great Christmas gift for a young girl, or would be perfect for a doll's house collector.”
“Because they are so unique, we felt the best way to find the right home for them would be to open them to bids, starting at £300 and £500.”
The dolls’ houses and the miniature shops will be on display in our Ecclesall Road shop from October 28, along with a collection of limited edition of Barbie dolls, all individually priced and starting at just £10.99.
“Altogether they make a fabulous Christmas selection and a really unique range of gifts,” said Chris.
