Hit the road for St Luke's

Join students, staff and alumni from both of Sheffield's Universities in the Varsity 10k to raise funds for our patient care.

The Sheffield Varsity 10k charity fundraising event for St Luke's HospiceThe third annual Sheffield Varsity 10k run takes to the city's streets on Sunday 23 March and will see students, staff and alumni of the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University, as well as members of the general public competing together.

This year’s event has a new route, starting and finishing at the University of Sheffield Arts Tower, with three laps taking competitors through Western Park and Crookes Valley Park before tackling the short but steep Harcourt Road hill and then looping around back to the Arts Tower.

“As always, non-University runners are very welcome and all runners will be chip-timed and receive a free t-shirt,” said events spokesperson Alison Muir.

“So get your trainers on, raise money for a fantastic Sheffield charity and make sure that your University wins!”
