You can support St Luke’s not only by taking part in events but also by sponsoring them, by donating items for them or by volunteering to help us run them. So please join us and help us to raise vital funds for the hospice. We’re always on the lookout for volunteers to help us run our events, so if you’re interested we’d love to hear from you.

Endcliffe Park, 4 - 11pm, walk starts 8.45pm
St Luke’s is getting ready for our second Starlight Walk - a 5km sponsored circular walk from Endcliffe Park to Forge Dam and back. Last year we raised over £70,000 with almost 1000 people taking part. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever with music and live entertainment in the park from the afternoon onwards, the evening promises to be very memorable and enjoyable.

Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield, starts 8.45am
The Sheffield Half Marathon is one of the biggest events in Sheffield’s sporting calendar, with an additional 3km fun run taking place on the same day. St Luke's is an official charity of the event, and we're looking to beat last year's total of 127 entrants who raised funds for the hospice - will you run for us? St Mary's Church & Conference Centre, St Mary's Gate, 1.00 - 4.00pm
This year's Summer Fair will be held at St Mary's Church and Conference Centre at St Mary's Gate (the roundabout at the bottom of Bramall Lane). The venue will be packed with stalls inside and out, including bric-a-brac, cakes, toiletries, plants and the always popular secondhand book selection. There'll also be musical entertainment, special attractions, rides and games for younger members of the family. Admission is just £1, with free entry for children. St Mary's Chuch can easily be accessed by public transport, and parking will be also available at Sheffield United's car park at Bramall Lane, a few minutes walk from the venue. So we've an exciting new venue, with a Summer Fair crammed full of stalls offering bargains, enticing food and drink with loads of entertainment - what's not to like? Don't miss it!

HSBC Sports Ground, Hathersage Road, Dore, 12.00 - 5.00pm
Up to 16 teams compete in front of a noisy and enthusiastic audience for the winners' trophy, the kudos, the envy of their competitors and the adulation of their supporters. It's a fun-filled team building occasion, featuring inflatable obstacle courses and giant fancy dress costumes, not to mention lashings of soapy water. And for the spectators it's a fun family day out with music, food, entertainment, activities for children and lots of cheerleading opportunities!
