In Touch Magazine is published four times a year in January, April, July and October. It is lively and informative and is our main vehicle other than this website for informing staff, patients, relatives and the general public about St Luke's.

St Luke's, Sheffield's only Hospice, opened in 1971 and serves the whole community of Sheffield. Although St Luke's cares for seriously ill people and their families, it is more about living than dying. A quarter of our in-patients are discharged after treatment and many attend day care centres for years.

St Luke’s specialist nurses do more than control symptoms and pain, they offer support with all the other difficulties that a serious illness can bring. The nursing team work hard to meet our patients and their loved ones needs. Encompassing their physical, spiritual and emotional needs and supporting them at a very difficult time in their lives.
