24-Hour Help-line

We offer 24-hour access to our Community Specialist Palliative Care Team service for patients, their family and carers, GPs and other health professionals in the community, whose worries or concerns may surface at any time of the day or night. It can be daunting to face a new symptom, or to be unsure whether to increase the dosage of the drug, particularly in the middle of the night.

The helpline, staffed by specialist nurses, provides help at the end of the telephone, whenever it is needed. The help-line number is 0114 236 9911 between the hours of 8am and 8.30pm.
