Academic education

St Luke’s has played a leading role in palliative care education since 1977.

Today we are working in a well-established partnership with Sheffield Hallam University to provide specialist Palliative Care modules for undergraduates, and diplomas in End of Life Studies for postgraduates.

Training and development for our own people

In line with our commitment to learning and development for all our staff at the hospice, we’re working on new training plans and development opportunities – not only for our clinical and non-clinical employees but also for volunteers, to ensure that while they're working to support St Lukes they get all the support they need from us.
