What we do
We care for people aged 18 and above throughout Sheffield who have incurable illnesses. We aim to control their symptoms, alleviate pain, and give them the best possible quality of life – all free of charge.
Facts and figures
St Luke's is not just for cancer patients, and it's far more than a building. In fact you may be surprised to learn that most of our patients never set foot in the Hospice itself. Find out more...
About our finances

Working in partnership for our patients
St Luke’s plays a central part in the network of palliative care nursing and support services in Sheffield, collaborating with many other organisations and agencies in the city.
St Luke's President, Vice Presidents and Trustees
Our trustees are responsible for ensuring that St Luke's is well-governed. Our distinguished President and Vice Presidents are not trustees, but play important roles as ambassadors and advocates for the hospice.
Patients assess St Luke's care
PLACE assessments use information gleaned directly from patient assessors to report how well a hospital or care provider is performing in the areas of privacy and dignity, cleanliness, food and general building maintenance. Read the latest St Luke's assessment here.
